MLB洛杉磯天使日籍二刀流球星大谷翔平，昨對堪薩斯皇家締造個人單場新高8分打點但天使輸球，今天再戰皇家時先發8局無失分賞對方13K，天使5比0贏球。
大谷本季第6勝到手，打擊方面他3打數1安打，被保送與三振各2次。目前他本季投手成績6勝4敗，防禦率2.90，打者成績為打擊率2成65、15轟、45分打點。
天使主場與皇家3連戰，首戰天使2比6輸球，第2戰昨天大谷敲出兩發3分砲，掃進個人單場新高8分打點，但天使最終在延長賽第11局以11比12落敗。
3連戰最後一場大谷登板先發，從昨天超級巨砲切換成賽揚巨頭模式，主投8局只被敲出2支安打，投出1次保送但三振對方13人次，其中皇家隊第5棒指定打擊杜傑爾（Hunter Dozier）3打席全被K最慘，另有4人領2張老K。天使後援投手泰普拉（Ryan Tepera）9局上再K1人，與大谷聯手全場賞皇家14K。
兩隊前4局僵持不下，5局下天使靠高飛犧牲打先馳得點，7下與8下靠連續安打各添2分。

曾為體育記者的MLB分析師藍斯（Sarah Langs）推文，說大谷是1920年大聯盟將打點列為官方紀錄以來，在前後兩場比賽各締造8分以上打點、投出10次以上三振的史上第一人。
